Colorado Works—TANF

In Colorado, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is known as Colorado Works. This program is a partnership with the Denver Department of Human Services that serves unemployed parents receiving Colorado Works benefits with holistic case management and job-readiness support. Colorado Works provides assistance to families so children can be cared for in their own homes and reduce the dependency of parents by promoting job preparation and work.

This results-driven program delivers a strong job placement and retention rates. All services are focused on overcoming barriers to employment while empowering clients to become self-sufficient. Services are provided at SHALOM Denver, 2498 West 2nd Avenue in Denver.
